I have been a labor and delivery nurse for almost 10 years. I started out so medically minded and quickly learned that I was missing something. There was a connection in birth I wasn’t able to make. That’s when I found Spinning Babies ™. After my first one day workshop I was sold. My patient’s were delivering vaginally and having much smoother labors. During my own pregnancies and birth I utilized all that that Spinning Babies had to offer as far as online learning could go. The Daily Essentials were life changing as far as comfort during the 2nd and 3rd trimesters of both of my pregnancies.
Fast forward to my own births, I labored spontaneously with both of my children and had very quick and smooth labors. I attribute my ease of labor and birth to my meticulous use of the Spinning Babies techniques and my knowledge from being a labor and delivery nurse for many years. It is my passion to bring this knowledge and empowerment to other women. If every Mother and Child could have a truly empowering start and trust in their own bodies and minds. You are the expert of your own body! Our society as a whole has moved so far away from what is physiologic. Thereby, treating every birthing person as if they are innately inadequate.
It’s time to change that mindset of inadequacy back to I am enough, I am strong and We can do this!

Certified Spinning Babies® Parent Educator

Spinning Babies® parent education is a supplement to a comprehensive childbirth education. We assume the Parent Educator Training attendee has experience teaching parents about pregnancy, childbirth and the immediate postpartum period. Pregnancy and the stages of labor, options in childbirth, challenges and complications, the available local providers, and methods of birth are examples of expected background knowledge. Neither this manual, nor our training, provides a comprehensive childbirth education outline or content description.
